History
Founded in the early 1950s, Commercial Bakeries is a family-owned and operated bakery producing
Private Label cookie products. From our humble roots as the purveyors of the Manning brand,
we became pioneers of the Private Label concept in the 1970s. From these small beginnings,
Commercial Bakeries has grown to serve many high-profile clients, shipping our quality products
worldwide. We continue to be leaders in our field and are honoured to be one of a select few
North American bakeries with production exclusively devoted to this niche.
We are capable of producing hundreds of different types of cookies, including recently popular
varieties for the health-conscious consumer. Since 1995, when our Research and Development Team
developed a line of tasty sugar-free cookies, we have expanded our range to include
peanut-free, gluten-free, wheat-free, all natural, and organic cookies.
We also offer portion control packs. Commercial Bakeries is a certified organic and kosher facility.
We proudly export our products worldwide, with customers in Asia, Korea, Europe, Australia,
the Caribbean Islands and the United States.
